Intel graphics drivers for MS Windows

Basic info about the Intel Calistoga core

Every Intel graphics card is built on a core, in this case Calistoga. To know at least a bit of context, we offer you some technical information about this core. His abilities will certainly tell the year of release (2006) and the production process (90 nm). Here, of course, the latest kernel has the current release year and is manufactured with as little manufacturing process as possible. For gamers, it is still very important to support the highest version of DirectX and OpenGl.

The Intel Calistoga core, known as CLG for short, was introduced in 2006 as the 3 generation. Offers advanced 90 nm manufacturing process, DirectX 9.0c and OpenGl 2.0 support.

Intel Mobile 945 Express series chipset (codenamed Calistoga with Intel GMA 950), including ICH7M southbridge.
Intel's Calistoga GPU uses the Generation 3.5 architecture and is made using a 90 nm production process at Intel. Calistoga supports DirectX 9.0c. It features 4 pixel shaders and 1 vertex shaders, 4 texture mapping units and 1 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support).

Below you will find links to the appropriate drivers for the Calistoga core.
